1. Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using SnapMyMed, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally able to agree to these terms in the place where you live. If you use SnapMyMed for another person, you are responsible for having authority to do so and for using the information appropriately.
3. Informational use only
SnapMyMed provides informational content about medicines and supplements. It does not diagnose, prescribe, provide personalized medical advice, or replace a doctor, pharmacist, product label, or other qualified healthcare professional. Information may be incomplete, outdated, or unavailable.
Always check the product label and follow instructions from your healthcare professional. Do not start, stop, or change a medicine based only on information shown by SnapMyMed.
4. Emergencies
SnapMyMed is not an emergency service. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately. For urgent questions about a medicine, contact a qualified healthcare professional or an appropriate poison-control service in your area.
5. Account responsibility
Some app functions use an anonymous account. You may choose to add email and password access. You are responsible for activity under your account, for keeping your device and credentials secure, and for providing accurate information when you choose to enter it.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use SnapMyMed to:
- break the law or infringe another person’s rights;
- interfere with, overload, probe, or bypass app security;
- introduce malicious code or attempt unauthorized access;
- copy, scrape, resell, or exploit the service beyond permitted use; or
- misrepresent app information as medical diagnosis or professional advice.
7. Subscriptions and purchases
SnapMyMed may offer monthly, yearly, and lifetime SnapMyMed+ purchase options through the Apple App Store. Monthly and yearly plans automatically renew unless canceled through your App Store account before the renewal date. A lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-renewing purchase.
Apple processes payment. You can manage or cancel a subscription through your App Store account settings and use the app’s restore-purchases option for eligible prior purchases. Refunds are subject to Apple’s policies. Prices, trial availability, and included access are shown in the app before purchase.
8. Intellectual property
SnapMyMed’s software, interface, branding, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use SnapMyMed for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of SnapMyMed or third-party content to you.
9. Third-party services and data sources
SnapMyMed may rely on external technology services and public or third-party data sources, including RxNorm, DailyMed, openFDA, NIH DSLD, and Open Beauty Facts where applicable. Those sources remain subject to their own terms, availability, and limitations. SnapMyMed does not guarantee that any result is complete, current, or accurate.
As a useful reference for apps distributed through Apple, you may also review Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The legal relationship between that agreement and these terms requires final legal configuration.
10. Service availability and changes
Features, data sources, and availability may change. SnapMyMed may be interrupted for maintenance, technical issues, provider outages, or other reasons. No specific result, uptime level, or continued availability is guaranteed.
11. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for how you use information provided through SnapMyMed. SnapMyMed is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee of medical or product accuracy. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
12. Account termination and deletion
You can initiate account deletion from within the app. Access may be suspended or ended when reasonably necessary to protect the service, enforce these terms, or comply with legal obligations. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will remain in effect.
13. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as SnapMyMed changes or legal requirements evolve. The “Last updated” date will identify the current version. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms where permitted by law.
14. Governing terms
These terms do not currently select a governing law, legal entity, or dispute-resolution process. Those items must be completed following legal review before production use.
